Fleet One Fact Sheet
|
 |
|
Headquartered in Nashville, TN, Fleet One® provides fuel cards and fleet-related payment solutions to businesses and government agencies with vehicles. Specifically, the company offers fuel and maintenance purchasing controls, detailed reporting, online account management and other cost-saving services to its customers across the country.
Since a 2001 merger of Fleet One and TransPlatinum Service Corp., the company has grown its base of customers by nearly 400 percent. A re-branding of company products, an expansion of services, and a focus on its merchant distribution network contributed to that growth. Fleet One’s employee base also grew by 68 percent.
Current Fleet One merchant partners include such regional and national companies as Cenex Chevron/Texaco, Circle K, Kroger, Love’s, Mapco, Murphy USA, Petro, Pilot, Sunoco, TA Travel Center, Valero, and Wilco Hess.
Fleet One offers the following programs and services:
- Fleet One Local is a fuel card program designed for companies and government entities with cars, vans or small trucks. The secure fuel cards are used instead of cash or credit cards to pay for fuel, maintenance and road-related expenses, which provides customers with purchasing control and online reporting. The card can be used at more than 50,000 fuel and maintenance locations throughout the country that offer pay-at-the-pump convenience when available. Most recently the company began offering Fleet One Vehicle Tracking, a secure, enhanced GPS tracking system that provides customers with specific fuel stop locations and amenities to be directly communicated with their drivers. GPS offers the security of quickly locating stolen assets, and prevention of off-hour use of equipment or out-of-route miles.
- Designed for businesses with fleets of semi-tractor trailers, reefers and other large vehicles, the company’s Over The Road (OTR) cards allow commercial users to buy fuel and maintenance services at 6,500+ truck stops and travel centers across the country. With no transaction fees, the cards offer cash price on fuel services, customized secure purchasing, rebate programs, and ATM and check services, all of which reduce fraud and save money. Other services include emergency roadside assistance, TripPak OVERNIGHTTM express mail delivery, a national Bridgestone/Firestone tire replacement program and ProMiles®, an online program that maximizes productivity and cost efficiencies through improved routing, monitoring and recording.
- The Local Merchant program allows the Fleet One Local card to be used for fuel and other fleet management services at thousands of participating convenience stores nationwide. Stores that begin accepting the Fleet One Local fuel card build their business by tapping into a potential new customer base of thousands. A turnkey Private Label card program is available, which allows the merchant to build its brand and offer commercial fuel cards and consumer ACH cards.
- The Over The Road Merchant program is an expansive network of fuel and maintenance sites across the country. Participants benefit from Fleet One’s growing customer base, marketing services and rebate network. Fleet One also offers private label programs to OTR merchants.
